2007 Pricing:

$6.00 per player for $250 deductible insurance and ASA registration

$9.00 per player for $0 deductible insurance and ASA registration (sorry about the increase - Bollinger Insurance increased this rate effective Jan 1 for only this deductible)

$10.00 per player for $250 deductible insurance, ASA registration and 2 picture ID Cards

$13.00 per player for $0 deductible insurance, ASA registration and 2 picture ID Cards

For 2007:
$13.00 per coach for ASA registration, insurance and background check

To Register Individually with the ASA Metro Cleveland
follow these 5 Steps:

1. Go to www.fastpitchsoftball.net - click on 'Free Login' - Answer the questions and click "submit" - An e-mail will be sent to you with your password
Select team if registering 1 team - Select league if registering more than 1 team

2. Go back to www.fastpitchsoftball.net - Select “Member’s Login” and login with your email and password

The menu on the left will update with new options

3. Select “Edit My Association” and answer the questions

4. Select “Edit Players/My Teams” and Enter your teams/players/coaches
Excel spreadsheet may be used for uploading - e-mail Tom for a sample spreadsheet
Picture ID's ARE NOT Required - they are an option
BIRTH CERTIFICATES ARE NOT NEEDED UNLESS PICTURE ID'S ARE CHOSEN

Why is Individual Registration Better then Team Coverage?

Insurance cost is much less expensive. If a team carries less than 16 players on their roster, your league/team will save money with either $0 or $250 deductible insurance.

ASA Registration fees are included.

Only one age group - easy to administer.

The coverage follows the player when he/she participates on any ASA registered team. The team is covered while playing in any amateur softball activity.

An ASA individually registered player receives both $2,000,000 per occurrence of General Liability coverage and $250,000 of Accident/Medical coverage. There is also a separate $2,000,000 Sexual Abuse Liability Limit per occurrence.

How does JO Individual Registration Compare to Team Coverage?

Individual Registration includes the same benefits as Team Coverage.

If all players in a league are individually registered, then the interests of the League and all of the league officers are automatically covered at no additional cost.

The coverage follows the players if they play as a team in a non-ASA sanctioned event.

Coverage Warning
One of the most important coverage's is Sexual Molestation and Abuse Liability.

Both ASA Insurance plans, Individual Registration and Team, have a separate $2,000,000 limit for Sexual Molestation and Abuse Liability.

Do not accept a policy that excludes or gives a low sub limit for this important coverage.
