Metro JO Hall of Fame
The Cleveland Metro JO Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor
individuals who have played, coached, or administrated in JO
fast pitch. Their names are posted here in recognition and
appreciation of their time, extraordinary efforts, and dedication
to the fast pitch game in the ASA Cleveland Metro Area.
To be nominated to the Cleveland Metro JO Hall of Fame an individual
must be recognized in one of the following ways.
As a Player:
Player must have participated with a travel team or in an ASA
sanctioned league from the Cleveland Metro Area. Must be nominated
by two coaches, and have played in Cleveland Metro sanctioned
tournaments for at lest two years.
“Academic Player” can come from either. Player
must have participated with an ASA sanctioned team from the
Cleveland Metro Area. Must be nominated by two coaches, and
have played in Cleveland Metro sanctioned tournaments for at
least two years and graduated with a GPA of 3.75.
In addition:
- Any ASA Metro team is limited to nominating
a maximum of two players in any given calendar year.
- Players must have graduated from high school
to be nominated.
- Players must cannot be nominated before their
senior year in high school and must be between the ages of
16 and 23.
- Ex players over 23 can be grandfathered in
by the same nomination progress.
- The JO Hall of Fame Committee can directly nominate
any individual they feel worthy.
