Rulebooks
are provided to the manager of all ASA registered teams and umpires. You
may purchase a current rulebook for $10 by contacting the Commissioner.
How do
I know if a specific softball bat is legal per ASA rules?
Go to www.asasoftball.com and
click on “equipment” and the select “bats”. There
is list of all illegal bats with pictures on the website.
How can
I learn more about ASA’s Insurance Program?
Go
back to the homepage and select the Fast Pitch/Junior Olympic side. Select
the”On Line Registration/Insurance” link and it will
take to the Bollinger Insurance website.
How can
I become an umpire or get umpires to officiate my games?

My team
has a problem with a ruling from our league; can ASA Metro Cleveland
help me?
The ASA has no jurisdiction
over local leagues; they choose to affiliate with us. To
resolve league conflicts, you must go through your league director
or governing board.

can I call for information?

titled “Local Leagues” which has registration information. Or
you can click the link “Essential Rules & Directory”. The
directory has a listing of various cities’ softball directors
and their phone numbers.
Can I
download fact sheets for ASA National Tournaments?
Yes.
